I had thought it would have been here Thursday, either right before I left for work, or right after I left, but to no avail. On all three breaks I texted my girlfriend, but there was no Becker to be had. So, fast forward to 1:30 a.m., and my ten hour shift is done. What to do now? Stay up until the mailman drops off my knife! At about 8:30 I'd had enough and just put a note to the mailman to leave the package if I didn't answer, as I was sleeping. Less than an hour after going to bed, there's a knock on the door!
My 15 has arrived. I decided to set it on the couch until I am up for good. 5 hours of sleep later and my hand longs to hold the 15. So, I get up, and am I ever surprised! I absolutely love this knife! I've used it in the kitchen already, and even with the coating it cut circles around my actual kitchen knives (it wouldn't hurt to give them a sharpening, either)! I didn't know if I was going to like the choil, and it is still a bit of getting used to, but I am incredibly pleased. It is my most expensive knife to date, and I couldn't be happier. I love the sheath, too! An incredible fusion of form and function! Now for pics!

I was quite surprised with how well it carved wood with the coating! While I will eventually strip it, I'm leaving the coating on for know, like I did with my eskabar On a side note, anyone know where to get longer stainless hardware? I made some liner last night, and to my dismay the hardware wouldn't fit anymore. And on another side note, if I were to make a leather sheath for it, would a welt be necessary? I'm pretty confused when it comes to welts. Thanks for looking!

Congrats!
Great knife and it does do work from the kitchen to the woods wonderfully well.
Any decent hardware store should have stainless that will fit.

Thanks for the reply! I'll take a look at my local Runnings. And it certainly is a great knife! I love it more with each passing moment!

Like the BK-5, The BK-15 Mini-Magnum-Camp has a choil that's more of a half-choil. It's done in such a way as to have the appearance of flowing into the overall design instead of jumping out like it's saying "hey look at me I'm a CHOIL!".

Picked up some stainless hardware and added some liners. It fills out the hand a bit better now. I'm loving this knife!

thanks for sharing. I've been so close to pullin the trigger on a 15 for a while now; I think im gonna go ahead and do it now :D

Finally, some pictures of the liners and stainless hardware. The liners aren't pretty, but they work quite well.

What is your impression of the 15 Ethan?
I have a 5 and love it and the 15 is calling my name.

Love my 15, took it to the coast this weekend, made some feather sticks, and a beach bonfire. Carved some drift wood. Great knife!
Congrats!
