UPS brought me my brand new Becker Pry-Bar today. Holy crap, this thing is STOUT! It's the thickest blade I have bought to date and I may never need to buy another unless it's a gift for someone else. :)

The BK2 is a hell of a knife. I cannot wait to get out and try it!

One thing though... this Kydex sheath is EXTREMELY tight fitting... it's going to take a while before one-handed operation will be of any use. With the amount of pressure it takes to get the knife out with one hand, it won't take long for that thumb ramp to start making your thumb raw.

And a family shot!

From left to right... Remora(BK13), the Chinese exchange student... Eskabar(BK14), the Becker/ESEE love child... BK "The Train Wrecker" 2... And BK "Big Daddy" 9.

One of these days I'm going to have to take some better photos with a real camera. :)

Very knife collection. Reading the title, I thought you got your self a BK3. Imagine my surprise to see my old favorite staring back at me. Good choice, it will soon become your favorite workhorse.

Sweet, that pink sticks out and the other BK's are getting mad, better do somthing about that or they will attack....

The -2 might just be the favorite knife I own. And at $55ish...? Wow! I think I need to get another. I dig the stripped look some of you folk have.

Take the scales off, put a piece of medium grit sandpaper down on a flat surface, and work those scales for a little bit. Makes the retention less of an issue. Plus if you are like me, the handle might be a smidge big anyway. Or the scale might be slightly curved in a manner that your ocd just can't let you live with.

Thanks I never even thought of that, great idea.
