:) I received the Chitlangi 18" that I ordered today! What a beauty! The balance and "feel" of the knive is very impressive.

It doesn't feel as heavy as it looks. It probably won't be used a lot ( I have other Khuks for that.) but it would really be easy to swing for long periods by the feel of it. It would probably be perfect for a "house" khuk, leaning next to the bedpost or something of that nature.
 
I don't know what the 18" Chitlangi feels like, but my 21"+ always intrigues me.
I wish I had an 18" to go along with it. I can only imagine what it feels like in the hand, but your description affirms my imagination.:)

Glad to see you didn't get blown to OZ ;). It is a very impressive knife. I highly recommend one.
 
I alwayas wanted to get me paws on a Chit. or perhaps a fullered version of the Movie Model....drool. ... .. . . drool/.. .. .. .
