First of all, hello to you all, I've been reading and watching for awhile, and finally took the plunge on a 18" Chitlangi from the 10/30 DOTD.
It came today and I must say it's a very nice piece of work, Thank You Yangdu.

As this is my first, all I had to go by was what I've read here, I was a little surprised that the spine measured 7/16's of an inch, I thought the Chitlangi's were more like the Sirupati's in that they were "lighter" blades, along with the "straighter" profile, unless the variance depends on the maker?
Anyway, the balance is good, the handle is way big enough, and I'm satisfied with the piece. Enough so this won't be my last.

Just not sure what to try next. :)

That's a real beaut you have there. Chits and Sirus can be both thick and thin, lighter and heavier depending on the mood of the kami. Generally they tend to be lighter, but "light" is relative when you compare the mass of a Siru to an AK of similar length:D

Congrats on your khuk!

My Chit is also fairly thick and heavy (20-in / 26-oz). I had some issues with the handle, but after a bit of reshaping, it's my favorite khuk -- easy to draw and heavy enough to do whatever I need it to. Also, the larger khuks usually have up-scaled Kardas that I find more useful than the little ones as utility knives.

Great news, thank you
