I'm new to lockbacks. Will these knives develope play by thumbflicking them open like other knives-linerlocks, framelocks, or compression locks? It's rock solid now and I don't want to cause any accelerated wear. Also, the bevel is very small compared to my Para Military, is that because it's ground thinner?

Congrats on an excellent cutting tool. It's my understanding that there is a miniscule amount of play in the knife. If memory serves me correctly it allows the lock to adjust and seat itself.
Yes, flicking the knife open with a lof of force will prematurely create wear on the lock interface areas. When you open the blade, open it in a controlled manner. It's not going to break, but just like anything with moving parts, things wear out over time. The knife is a true slicer, everything from rope, to sandwiches. Enjoy it. :)

Thanks, I will enjoy it. I like how thin it is. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to give it a workout this weekend.
