I received my Pete's Custom today finally after two months of waiting and it is beautiful, however it has a plain handle instead of the finger grooved that I ordered. I particularly wanted the FG as all my others have plain handles and imagine my disappointment when I saw it was plain, especially after having to pay Aus$65.70 for customs duty. I have checked my original order and it definately said FG. Can you advise what can be done about this? If I send it back I will get stung again for Customs duty when the replacement arrives.
I have to admit the knife is beautiful, fit and finish is perfect and a credit to Pete's Custom Shop. If my budget stretched that far I would keep it and order another with FG, however, "She who must be obeyed" has stated an emphatic NO to that idea.
Any suggestions?
