I must say out of all of my spyderco's; the fit and finish on this sage 2 is phenomenal. As others have stated, have no worries with this taiwan built knife. The knife is truly well built and beautiful. I will enjoy entering this into my EDC rotation. If you are on the fence with this knife; Do not think and buy it you will not be disappointed. My collection is very limited at the time that includes the Dodo orange sprint, delica stainless, and endura frn just to give you an idea of what my experience with Spyderco is.

Sage 2 is a fine knife. It fits my hands perfectly. Love the ergos. And I am a titanium nut so there you go :)

I am on the fence with this knife but I think I may have to pick one up soon when my wallet starts to bulk up.

I have the sage and its one helluva knife! I really want to get a Sage 2! Mainly because you do have the option of anodizing it :D

5.56 did a really, really good job on his. The thread is somewhere here.

The Sage2 has been the nicest Spyderco, from a F&F point of view, I've ever owned. It might very well be the second nicest knife I've owned, regardless of maker or pricepoint. It's valued well above its pricepoint, in my opinion.

i have the sage 1 in my pocket now...only reason i didnt get the sage 2 was because i dig the textured carbon fiber

I had a Sage 2 and now regret selling it. I still have my Sage 1, but I think I'm going to gift that to a friend soon. Maybe it's time to get another Sage 2.

Same here, plus in due time scratches will start building on that Ti...but I'm still going to buy one soon. Production on the Sage 2 will stop within 2 years at the most.

Personally I think the scratches that develop on ti handles actually make the knife look better. There's something about a pristine unscratched metal handled knife that just doesn't look right.

I actually stonewashed the blade of my sage 2 and polished the washers and internals and couldn't be more pleased. The polished internals make it absolutely smooth as oiled glass and the stonewashed blade and slightly scratched up handle give it that sebenza-esque look.
