just got my adventura and here are some of the features that stand out the most. Its a very thin knife. Seems the opposite if the native III. Man and i mean that blade fits SNUG in to that frame perfectly. Overall fit, finish and lockup are perfect except it has that doggone little vertical movement that a couple of my other ones have. Im starting to think thats normal for a spydie lockback so I'm just going to accept that its normal. Anybody else notice this in their spydercos?????.........................thx/paul

 Paul, Congrats on your Adventura. A little vertical play? Sorry, can't help you with that one yet. But, I'll get back to you on that one. I should have mine on Monday, I've been waiting on this one for a while. I Can't wait. I'll update you when I get, if thats O.K. Thanks for sharing the good spydie news.:)

I own several Spydercos in the lockback configuration. They ALL have a very slight vertical play when in the locked position. It relates to the geometry of the lockback notch and I find this in many other lockbacks I own as well. Its never affected lock strength even in the ones I use pretty hard.

Mind you, I also have a couple of old, cheapy lockback folders that have ZERO play... Jason.

 Paul, I just received my Adventura(FINALLY). This is one awsome knife. Just to let you know this Adventura also has a little vertical play as well, barely noticeable. Other than that, solid lock-up, razor sharp, slim-lined, and lightweight for SS. I am VERY impressed. I now have a new EDC.:D

I have read in the reviews area that several people have had vertical play in their spydercos.
