received the Dominator!!!

Well I received the Dominator I had ordered. I have to say this is one fine knife!@!! Its a little on the heavy side compared to what I am use to carrying, but the added weight really is not very much. I was really pleasantly surprised to find the "robo power" assist was much better/stronger than I had thought it would be. it gives a nice "authoritive" click when it opens. This one may give my avalanche a run for its money!!! Fit and finish is good. Does not seem to have any blade play.

Kudos to Daryl and camillus for a fine knife!!!! I think this one is looking like it may become my edc. have to say im interested in the heat also, but after purchasing this one...hmmmmmmmmm. I'll try this one for a while!!! :)
 
Well, the heat is just the thing if heavy and rough use is the order of the day. That way you could lend the heat and keep the Dom pristine and faithful!!!

By the way, what type of lock does the Dominator have ?

It works just like a leaf spring opener in an auto knife. But
the spring is built into the scale cutout
the protrusion on the blade for the spring will over travel to lock up the blade

think of a clock hand at 11.30 with the spring at 12.00

at 11.30 the knob will go past 12.00 and try to go anti clock wise but are stopped by the stop pin and the thumbstud

at 12.30 the spring will push the blade out and inertia will lock the blade into the liner lock on the heat or frame lock on the Dom.
 
Well I am keeping my dominator "pristine" as I ordered another one :) !!!

I have to say the robo assit is great!! not weak like I heard some say, but very "authoritive"!!!
