and should have posted sooner...mainly because prospective shoppers read these threads...this one is by Sher with a satisal wood handle, and very enjoyable was the comparison with the horn handled one by Bura, and noting how each Kami has a different take on what is still the same knife...and, of course, the randomness of how a particular batch of steel reacts to the hammer and the wielder leaves no doubt that these are handcrafted, and crafted with care....another winner, and I look forward to handing this one to my eldest stepson when I see him on Thurs...considering there are heavy woods all about, it won't stay new for very long at all......the hardest part of this has been getting two in the mail, and neither of them have been mine.....very much looking forward the fixin' that little oversight....and should reinforce that dealing with Yangdu is, as always, an exercise in how to do business correctly....

Sounds nice, mtngnr...

you might consider printing out the safety thread and giving a copy of it to each of the lucky recipients.

justathought.

Yangdu is way ahead of you...the first knife came with a printout of that thread enclosed in the box, plus, just like with the guns that I have given them and the promise of what will happen should they play gunfighter and survive, they also know what will happen should they start any sword fights...
