Just picked up an HD again, I think I've owned maybe 10 or so over the years of the HD/AD/OD combos but eventually sold/traded them and I must admit the HD's were the ones I regretted selling the most! So here she is with an ultra fine Buy Brown Kydex sheath and a Fenix P1 LED light. For those of you who are unfamilliar with the Fenix lights the P1 model freaking rocks like no tomorrow! Try one you'll likey.:D
 
Congrats. Nothing worse than the regrets after selling trading something you learn you can't live without.
 
Nice one Bravado! I've been trying to get my hands on one of those for a while! ;) Along with many others. You are a sly one!

Thx for the tip on Fenix, I love Surfire's... Would you say these are better? ... better in this small size range?? Nice 'n' compact, I like that small size for easy carry. :thumbup: :)

They're better in the sense that SureFire isn't making anything in the size and price range of the Fenix. The Fenix P1 model uses a Luxon III watt bulb and readily accepts an Rechargable 123 battery. Mine is a single stage light but they make one's in the same model that are level variable and they also have the new "Cree" LED bulb which is supposed to be much brighter than the Luxon bulbs. I picked mine up for like $35.00 off of Candlepower forums.
 
I got my first AD from you, DCBB / Blk linen :D, one of those you sold/traded :eek:

I like my HD better for EDC, Blk/ blk in a BB sheath, it's high in my rotation, and gets a lot of use. Not the sharpened railroad spike that the OD is, but you'll never break it.

I've sold knives and then regretted it, I know how it felt when I replaced it... with one just like the one one I sold :eek:

You got one from me too cool! Yeah the HD fits my mitts a little better.
 
Recently bought a Fenix model with the Cree LED(P1D-CE), the best light I have ever used, hands down
 
Man, I agree Bravado, The knife and the P1 are great. I purchsed a P1D model with the "cree" LED and the output is unbelievable for that little light! They say 135 lumens on the high output setting. Now I need to find the brother of your HD and I'll be set.

Yeah the Cree bulb sounds interesting but the Luxon works fine for me plus I mainly use my SureFire L4 for primary stuff anyway. Maybe Jerry will bring back the HD someday.
 
I have the Fenix with the Cree similar to Bravados and its a bright little light. Im waiting for surefire to release their Cree lights.
