Recent Benchmade Customer Service

Hey I was wondering if any of you have any recent experience with Benchmade customer service? I have experienced stellar customer service a few years ago but it is kind of bad this time around.
I sent in my 940 for a reblade to Benchmade and got their email confirming that they received my knife on July 28th. On the same day, I got a text message saying that I need to contact their customer service to provide additional information (presumably payment information). I called in and waited on hold for an hour and a half just to be hung up on and the answering machine said something along the lines of “There is noone to take your call”.
I figured it was a fluke or a technical problem so I emailed them with my order number and reference number asking them what they need from my end on July 28th and received no response. I emailed them again on August 27th and still haven’t heard from them since. Benchmade is known for their excellent customer service which is why I bit the bullet for years paying their butterfly tax but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Can any of you share your recent experience with Benchmade customer service (good or bad) and does any of you have any advice as to how I can get my knife serviced or at least get my knife back since they aren’t answering my emails? For clarifications, I haven’t called them back since then because my schedule is getting tighter and I don’t want to potentially wait for another hour and a half to be hung up on. Am I being unreasonable to expect Benchmade to reliably communicate through email?
 
sure they have the same problem every company does nowadays. if ya get someone who cares about their job and doing a good job, it's a good experience. if you get someone who doesn't care about their job or doing a good job, its a bad experience.
