recent hunter

Here is a hunter I just finished up. It has a 1084 blade with hamon and working finish (scotchbrite finish), a Damascus guard, copper spacer and spalted maple handle. I think the hamon would have turned out better had I hand sanded but the customer wanted the working finish on it.
 
That is a great looking knife! That handle is designed to be secure in hand and the whole piece screams "use me". :thumbup:

the customer is getting a very nice knife and I am sure he will enjoy using it as much as any collector would enjoy showing it.
 
I really like the shape and the colors, The combination of flowing curves, different colors, and the the proportion of the handle to blade are perfect. Can we see a pic taken fom the top? Very nice knife. Just seems to look "right."
 
Yes I would say you have a winner there and that is some good-looking wood. where can I get some
