Recent Kershaw Thermites: clip now removable?

Both early Thermites I purchased had permanent LockTite'd pocket clip screws, so I was not able to swap to tip up carry. Are the newer/current production models fixed? Would purchasing the black blade version guarantee me removable clip screws?

I had no problem at all with my Thermite's clip screws. I am really tempted to get the all black version as well.

I had the same problem with my first. It seems like they fixed the issue. I was at Blade HQ the other day and they tried a couple and didn't have any issues.

If you do have one with really stiff screws, heat them up with a torch for a few seconds and that loosens the loctite and they come out really easy

Dude, I'm so jealous! I wish I had a place like BladeHQ close to my house! I'm sure my wife is glad, though...

I have both SW and Black blade. I did a swap with the blade, lock side and clip with no problems. Seems they fixed the problem. Both were from KC.
