All ...

A few months back one of the assorted gun/survival magazines had run the CU-7 against some higher priced models and won hands down ... and they even had it sent off for a custom sheath, which just added to the beauty of this knife.

I had the magazine but it's "disappeared" from my desk at home and I was wondering if any of you here would know which publication it was that had done the article and torture test.

The reason I ask is because I just had a good friend of mine buy a CU-7 (per my recommendation from the info in that article) for a possible trip to Iraq within the coming weeks and he'd love to see the article.

Thanks in advance.

Martial_life, your signature line has puzzled me for some time and I have finally figured out why. it is quite similar to an incorrect Shakespeare quote, "The coward dies a thousand times, the valiant only once." The proper quote, from Julius Caesar, is:
Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste death but once.
Of all the wonders that I have yet heard,
It seems to me most strange that men should fear,
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it come.

The quote in your signature line seems to have a lot of mothers and fathers, but the most common appears to be the film, Little Soldiers. I agree with the sentiment about the valiant, but being a soldier is no guarantee of courage. History is replete with examples of the opposite, awkward as that might be to consider.

First off, i apologize to MCG_MarineOne because i'm not quite sure how to talk to FullerH in any other way then hitting "reply".
FullerH-I'm sorry for the confusion, I was unaware of it. I am not stating that being a soldier makes you valiant or honorable. However, it is in my eyes a honorable thing to do to serve one's country. I know it is not an exact quote, and am fully aware that there are plently of soldiers who are not model citizens or that i would never want to be left in the same room with my children. The same can be said of any occupation.
Anyway, the original quote takes up a bit of space, so i shortened it to to a similair phrase then i heard or read somewhere. If my signature line bothers you, I would be more then happy to change it or just not have one to keep a problem from forming needlessly between you and me, or between me and anyone else. My email is knifeguy85@hotmail.com .

Anyone know what magazine this article is in?
I'd really like to read it.

I could have swore it was in an article of Tactical Knives. Maybe if you call them, they can tell you which one, and you can buy that individual magazine?

I'd like to read it too. If anyone finds it, how about posting it here?

This forum, like so many others, gives the members a choice as to whether or not view signature lines. I dislike sig lines, so I always opt to not see them.
