I just finished working on my personal Manix 2. My most recent mod is burnt bronze heat Cerikoted liners. I have another Manix getting this sort of mod also with a different color. I masked off any area that would make the knife wider or tighter after reassembly. This is the first time I tried this and it seems to keep a knife smoother than not masking it in any way. I have other knives that are fine without doing this but I experiment to see what works best. I'm glad I did this on my Manix. My lanyard hole is a chain-ring bolt if anyone was wondering. It works great on this knife and looks interesting as well in my opinion. I just prefer this mod, it works well for me. Here are a few pictures.
