I asked Milan to make me a knife. Asked him for some special concentration for my preferences. My attitude is from the beginning Not to worry how long till completed. As a guy there in his county with the living standards and opportunity to eek out a living, my thoughts are to just be patient. There are other makers which he is in competition with. From reading the GBU info there are some humps but Nothing patience can't resolve. I think I like his knives generally. This is my first custom build request from anybody that takes custom orders for their knives. I think his price points are good. Mine is for this knife and also a sheath with an inlay of his choice. I also asked for a pretty burl such as Amboyna . A member had a nice example for a good resale price and I missed it to someone else. I then inquired and for the same money, to my preferences I decided to order from him direct. I will add more photos as he sends them. I believe he has actually finished the knife so When he gets me the pics, I will follow up.

That's a fine looking blade, and I do like his work as well. What's the blade length? 8" maybe.
Congrats it's going to be a really nice bowie/fighter one day when ne gets done with it.
 
Can't wait to run the length down that swedge. It's 8 1/2 with 5 1/2 handle. Blued guard.

More photos. Guard not yet finished, and sheath will be included but not yet started. I wanted a tang that is not thin where it meets the handle. Imgur is a bear to post pics from but it is the only host I even can with any success.

What sheath light dye or dark? What insert material will do?

Really beautiful.

I would go light sheath, so the guard stands out between the light handle and the light sheath, and then a darker brown insert.
