Recent Military CQI's to become standard on all models?

Does anyone know if the CQI's on the recent Military sprints will trickle down to standard models? If so, when?

I saw Eric say in a video that the changes would eventually make it to the regular production models but that it was going to be a little while. Only they know when. It was in a video where he was displaying the new 52100 sprint. There are many dealers out there with the standard model in inventory and we may need them to dry up before we start seeing them updated. That's just my guess.

This has been the #1 Spydie question on my mind lately!

It's always happening to many models on many levels. Also always happening within the company. That's why it's "Constant Quality Improvement"

Remember that older stock of standard models (S30V versions) will remain in dealers' inventory on an unpredictable basis for a long time. Depending on how carefully the dealer rotates inventory, the current version of standard models could be coming off some dealers' shelves for years so buyers who care (and I would) should ask the dealer to check before shipping.

I had to grab a KW 204p one. The Military is such a fantastic knife and I do really like S30V. BUT I have also had good experiences with CPM-20CV which is apparently really similar to CTS-204p. I did once have a Sprint CF/S90V which was incredible. I would have snagged one immediately if the handles were CF... But I hugely prefer stainless steels so the 52100 was out. I'm looking forward to the green handles too!

Does this mean eventually dealers will cut the price of the standard millies for quick sale in order to make room for the newer ones? Like what is going on with zt0801 at bladehq...
