Picked up a few Old Timer knives recently, and spent some time this evening getting some photos done.

Two twenty-five year Anniversary Old Timers.

Grand Dad's Old Timer II. Waiting on a Sharpfinger to complete the set; it's in the mail headed this way.

Nice pick ups Bob. You find those at the True Value down in Cimarron?

Good job on the finds bob! Some nice pictures too! Very well set up.

Are the 25th Anniversary knives, 25 years since the introduction of Old Timers, or since the start of Schrade USA (1972) ?
thanks, roland

Those were made in 1984 for the 25th Anniversary of Old Timer knives.

My first impression of these knives years ago was that they had to be much older. I was surprised to see this level of detail, workmanship, and 'class' from 1984. :)

Some nice photos there Bob.. I like the ones that still have dried factory oil on them.

I sure need to work more on the pictures, but your comments are encouraging. Thanks.

Outside is 12 degrees, and every evening it's dark before I get home from work. The convertible is covered with snow, and I wouldn't even think of taking the motorcycle out. Hiking and camping, forget it. It's times like this that I sure appreciate having this 'winter' hobby. :)
