Here's a couple of pix of Bura taken within the last month. I was shocked when I saw these. That stroke put about 15 years on him.

He definitely looks a lot thinner in the facial features.

Health problems put the age on. 3 or 4 major surgeries certainly put some miles on me. But nothing that a hundred thousand dollars worth of plastic surgery and liposuction can't fix -- along with $40,000 worth of dental implants and maybe a transplanted pig's heart thrown in for good measure.

Uncle...
for that kinda money we could get you a supermodel for a weekend or so... I dont know about yall but I think it would be a better investment. ;) ;)

from Yangdu?

or

Heart Attack?

or

Both!?!?!!!

Glad he is still around. He still comes up with some very fine blades. My 12" AK is an exact miniature of the 15" AK that was the first order.

I may be wrong, but they probably have him on some kind of diet besides the medication. The diet may be keeping him thinned down.

I remember after my grandpa had his first stroke, had a similar change. The weight loss was extreme. By the time he died, he looked like a skeleton, but then that may just have come from dying as my dad was very skinny when he passed as well. :(

It is good to see that despite the stroke, Bura is still up and at it. I know after his second stroke, my grandpa ceased to be the person I grew up with, and was almost like a ghost for the next few years.

Stroke medication has come a long way. I remeber when people have the half paralysis on half there body and had to relearn to simple coordination.

Bura looks good in light of the passed events.

So I see that is the Khukuri maestro. Convey my warmest regards to the man! :)
