Some stuff I have recently finished up. Two edc/carving type knives, a little bowie esque hunter, and a sheath for an old hearth steel knife.
Materials in the first two are oak, birch bark, copper and 1075. One of 'em's got an African Blackwood bolster.
This guy is 1084 and 15n20, mild steel, brass, wrought iron, and wenge. I was playing around with textures in that one, so the wenge is wire brushed to bring out the gnarliness of the grain, the wrought iron was deep-etched and allowed to brown, and the guard was glass-bead blasted. I think it came out well
I dont know if you can see how well everything worked together from the pictures...
