I've seen this question come up from time to time. It's a very easy fix, usually takes less than 5min.All you will need is a torx set(or whatever fasteners your folder uses) & a book of matches.

1.Loosen all your screws-Don't disassemble just loosen as much as you can before they fall out.

2.Fold a matchbook or wedge into the side that the blade is off center. You want to push the blade all the way over to the opposite side.

3.With the wedge still in place, screw back all your fasteners.

And that's it.As far as I know, this works on linerlocks & framelocks.I've never tried it on any other type of locking folder.

*You may have to repeat steps 1-3 to get it just right. It doesn't always work the first time.
Linerlocks generally take a little longer to do than framelocks.

I hope this was helpful. Thanks & take care.:)

thanks for the idea - interestingly, I have had success by loosening the screws then pressing the blade farther against the scale that it is already too close to, and tightening. very counter-intuitive but it works! Next time I will try this method to compare.

That is strange:confused:,but I guess it's all good if it works for you.:)

Thanks for the tip! I've gotta try that. Got a whole lot of knives which are off-center.
