Recieved first tomahawk today

I ordered a CS trail hawk the other day as my initial dip into the world of tomahawks. I wanted to start with something inexpensive and was pleasantly surprised at how well made this one is. I figured if I broke it I wouldn't be out to much money. Surprisingly good for $25. Mine has a label that says American Tomahawk Company on it. Is this the same company that sells the more expensive tactical tomahawks?

No, not the same company. Apparently, Cold Steel holds the trademark after it had been abandoned by the original outfit, IIRC.

The Trail Hawk is a fun thrower.

Congrats on your first one too! One of these days, soon, I'm going to put my CS Trail Hawk through the ringer and see what she will do. So far, I'm really happy with mine.
