Apologies if this is in the wrong place. Couldn't find an 'introduction' area.
I have been lurking and learning on this site for a while. I'm not real computer savvy. I belong to a motorcycle forum (klrforumdotcom), so I figured I'd better get on board here (none of them care about my knives). :grumpy:
I've been collecting knives (thanks to my Grandpa) since I was about 6. I own around 100 knives. Like a lot of folks on here, I have come full circle...my newfangled knives seem to gather dust (not really, I keep all my knives clean), while my interest in older knife patterns and especially slipjoints has become a bit of a problem (for my wife).
I collect mostly folders, but I do have some fixed blades (mostly sharpfingers). I'm a two knife a day kind of guy (one clipped in the back pocket (usually a leek or something comparable) and a slippie in the front pocket). Three if I'm wearing my MC jacket...always keep one in there.
I love knives and being outdoors in general. I would rather fish than do just about anything.
Anyway, I'll chime in once in a while if I have something remotely intelligent to say. I do ask a LOT of Q's. I look forward to learning about some knives I own and will post pics if someone can tell me how. Thanks for having me.
