I am new to the Spyderco forums but have been a fan of there knives for a few month and am looking to buy one what do you guys think would be the best deal under these limits? im going to use said knife as an edc.

-blade less than 3 inches
-less than $50
-no serrations :grumpy:
 
Can't go wrong with a DragonFly FRN
But for a few dollars more you can have a Delica
 
thanks I was looking at the meadowlark 2 but I think I like the dragonfly more and it look like it is made from better steel.
 
to my knowledge, the Delica is a scaled down and smaller version of the Endura 4, which is one of my favorite spyderco knives, probly one of the most used knives I have actually. I have no experience with the dragonfly, but I know that several several people recommend it. I don't see you going wrong with either. Just try to get hands on either first before deciding.
 
The Delica is my top EDC blade. I'm carrying one with a Wave opener right now. The Dragonfly is also great, especially since it has a front choil that is really handy. I'd also recommend the Persistence
 
Keep an eye open on the exchange. Delicas sometimes show up there for under $50. Dragonfly is a great knife too, but it is quite a bit smaller. The Delica just feels like an ideal size for EDC.
