With PhotoPoint.com going commercial in a few
weeks, I was wondering where you folks might
suggest we use for our pix links?

Your ISP should provide you with space for a webpage. It might not be as easy to figure out how to upload something for the first time, but it's covered in bill, so you're paying for it anyway so you might as well use it, and they're almost always advertisement free.

I've had great luck posting them to my Compuserve site using WS_ftp, a free program. It's very straight forward, just upload them from your computer to the site and then reference them in your posting. Best of all it's free. I've used this for ebay and other posts as well.

Kurdy, I joined zing.com, successfully
uploaded images and created an album. But
how in the blue blazes do you create an link
to an image and post it here? Please...

Servtech, tried honesty.com. They say FREE FREE FREE, but when you get to the upload images part, all I see is $$ packages and a
statement that since I have not chosen a
package all my images will be deleted in
seven days. Did I miss the turnoff or a
roadsign somewhere?

bobwill1, Will check with my ISP. Think these
folks charge extra for that service though?

While it lasts and is still free:
