Hello,

I can give you any hints for knives shop in Paris, even in San Francisco (on the Pier 39, 15 years ago, I held my first BM970...)
But New York seems to be a "anti clip" city and an Anti Gravity Knives community (fine with me).
But is there a nice and safe place to buy a legal (or a big bad serrated bowie!) knife in the Big Apple ?

(My wife wants to lurk at Tiffany's.... I just want breakfast in America!)
:D
Cheers

Also Paragon at Union Square has a big selection for the city of custom and factory knives. Big prices, too:).

http://www.paragonsports.com . Their website, it doesn't list the knives, but it's 2-3 decent display cases full.

Warshaw Hardware at 248 3rd Avenue, stocked a few (5-10 knives from each brand, rotated by style) Spyderco and Cold Steel at good prices as of a year or two ago. Nice folks, it's a short walk from Paragon.

Edit: Wait, I was wrong, Paragon does have a few knife listings on their site, showing a bit of the selection, just search knife on the site-

I'm going to Paris in the summer where are the good knife shops, I'd like to get a douk-douk.

I will second Paragon. There is allot of nice stuff to look at and handle. The Victorinox display was icing.
