Recommend a belt / disc sander

I'd appreciate any recommendations for a belt / disc sander for a beginning hobbyist. I'm looking at doing basic handle work, and sharpening on a leather belt. I read some old threads here, but the models mentioned (i.e. Delta Shopmaster) appear to all be discontinued.

I'm not sure of what you want. If it's to be best in a disc sander you want a Rod Nielsen magnetic one. Perhaps this is away over the top for you? I'm not trying to be nasty.Google him.
