I'm looking for a beater to do just that to.

I'm looking at possibly an Ontario Air Force or ASEK from them or Gerber.

This is the "type" of blade I'm interested in. Under $100 would like to keep it in the $50 range.

Definately doesn't have to be new preferably used. Something with a track record.

For a similar style look at the Ka Bar fighting/utility knives. They are right in your price range and certainly have a "track record"...more so than any of your current choices IMO.

Also, take a look at the Mora HighQ Robust. It will save you money and I think you'll find it is more than adequate.
