Can anyone recommend a good folding knife (under $100) or direct me to reviews? The knife will need to be opended with one hand, have both straight and serrated edges (cutting rope and webbing when mountaineering). It will also double as my main knife when trekking (cutting bread and salami). I have looked at SOG Flash and X42 along with some Gerbers but have got confused in the process. Many thanks

Spyderco para military is good too but if you really want a combo edge 3.5 or so blade would probably be best. Cold Steel voyagers in four inch length in whatever blade you fancy.

or you could just get two delicas in plain and serrated or two Enduras for that matter.

I love my Benchmade Griptilian. It has been a good all around EDC folder for me for almost a year now. Nothing has stopped it yet!

One week ago, I'd have said: Spyderco Delica in CE. It's a great knife, and my very EDC for the last three years is a Delica. But... now there's a new guy in town. Its name: Byrd. Meadowlark Byrd:
