Looking to have a knife's Ti scale engraved. Would prefer a sweeping cursive style rather than block letters (girl's knife ;) ).

Anyone have any good leads? Even better, any examples of some work?

Thanks!
:)

The best of the best is Rick Eaton... if you can afford him... and if you don't mind the wait.

Beware of Chuck's recommendations, especially "best of the best" stuff, unless you're using spare $100 bills as firestarters. No, just kidding Chuck. Can you recommend a couple others? Maybe not the "best of the best," but still engravers you know to be good and reasonably priced? Anyone feel free to answer along with Gollnick. Thanks

What do you want engraved? On what knife? Where are you located.

Honestly, most engraving like that can be done with a pantograph engraver, no need for hand engraving.

Steven is right. Don't spend $500.00 plus engraving a knife that has no real collector value. If you still want to go that way Simom Lytton (British) or Chris Meyer (New Jersey) would be a great choice for scroll. Chris can be reached at
973/875-6299.

Knife is by Pease, engraving by Meyer.

Please. You exagerate. I only use $20s for fire starting. $100s are for telephone messages. :D

Agony, I sent you a pm on the BM forum with a link to some great examples of various engravers. You'll want to check a number of different ones out first.

Could I add to this by asking if anyone knows of a knife retailer online that does simple engraving like initials or names on blades? Nothing fancy just ya know personalized a bit. I would like to get say a Buck Gent with my initials in it.. Not looking to spend the big bux though....

R&J Cutlery does engraving at their retail store.

Thanks for all the great ideas.
It's a large Sebenza that I need engraved.
Nothing fancy, no scrollwork, just some text, but it has to be pretty, and not your typical "Things Remembered' crappy mall engraving either.
