Hi,

I’m looking for a really nice Damascus knife in the $350 - $500 range.

3.00” - 3.75” flipper or thumb stud.

I understand the $500 ceiling limits things a bit but I’m sure there’s some good knives available.

It will go in a collection and will see not cutting duties.

If you want to go budget Damascus, it’s hard to argue with the Civivi line. A $100 bill will get you a Damascus Civivi to whip and beat like a government mule for a year or two while you save up the $750-$800 you’ll need to get that Damascus CRK with wood inlays.

Civivi Damascus is stainless too!!

For that price range, I would recommend are CRK (2nd market of course) and Reate.

Check out Mcusta knives (at Knifecenter). Good laminated Damascus/VG10 core. Around $100 US. Come very sharp and hold an edge. Beautiful too.
Have two; one in my EDC rotation and one for dress. Used them for everything from cardboard, zip ties, paper, etc., Have not had to sharpen yet.
