Recommend a Nice Leather Lanyard

I saw a picture of a mnandi with a leather lanyard posted and it made me really love the overall look. Any recommendations on how to put together a nice leather lanyard?

Either one pre-made for the purpose, or where to buy the leather cord? What length, any wrap techniques, etc? I know nothing about leather lanyards except that it looks pretty sweet on the mnandi below!

Just buy the leather and make it yourself. You can find the directions on how CRK lanyards are made on line.

I think you could use leather shoe laces for these. They easily available.

It should. I've seen many done with leather.
I know it's not leather but I whipped this one up tonight. I think leather would have come out just the same.

Leather of the correct diameter works well. The flat leather is more difficult to work.

This youtube video is a great start for someone looking to make a leather lanyard. He recomends using Kiwi leather laces fro walmart which actually come out great when finished.

Just keep in mind. The leather will weaken over time. I had one break on me and almost lost my Ti-Lock.

Although it looks nice I won't use it again unless purely decorative.
