I have been considering buying a power supply for anodizing and electroetching and was hoping to get some solid recommendations. This will be for personal use and maybe do some work for friends but not as a business. I am hoping to find a solid unit that is not crazy expensive but I am not looking to scrap the low end either.

I don't mind spending a bit to get a good piece of equipment that will last and do whatever I may need it to. I am pretty new to doing these things so any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks ... JJ

I currently anodize with batteries, so I can't attest to this personally. But people I've seen anodize with very good results use a Wanptek. One in particular I've seen is a Wanptek KPS1203D.

You primarily just want something that'll go up to 120 volts and around 3 amps.

Thanks, that is one brand I have looked at, and I will check out that model. Hoping to hear more suggestions on brands and models users have good experiences with.
I have used batteries and even a battery charger for etching but I think to do more etching and anodizing a good power supply would make things much faster and easier.
