I'm looking for an aftermarket stainless type divers watch band.

Options from from a used rolex band for hundreds, to amazon chinese for $20

I like the Submariner divers type with the fold over safety clasp vs the two fingered latch on a post type

It has to be available in Canada - Amazon.ca would be handy

The catch - Wrist size is 8 3/4 maybe larger. I intend to buy two bracelets and splice them together to get the right fit

So, I need to be able to buy two ( this disqualifies most used) and It's got to be cheap enough to get two for a project that may or may not really work out.

Chances are you aren’t going to need two bracelets just to get to 8.75. More info on the watch might be helpful.

There is a brand called strapsco that is well regarded, they sell a variety of bracelets and straps. You will need to know the lug width (spacing) in millimeters for your watch, easy enough to measure with a ruler or caliper.
What you call a submariner type is generally called an oyster bracelet, named after Rolex terminology.

If you tag in the watch brand and model along with the lug width that will help a lot.

I like these but I think you need to order from the US.

Just a couple of simple cheapies

20mm Curved
Timex Expedition

and an older one

19mm straight Timex expedition - Black

I've tried new NATO straps and they are too short, plus I don't like the abrasive nature on my skin
Rubber straps, same thing - they get grabby - create a hot spot that gets soft and creates a wound.

I've had a few nice stainless bracelet watches in the past, but those failed for different reasons.
