Hello all. Just got my first GEC, a 73 liner lock in stag. I love it, but I'm scared of losing it if I get a hole in my pocket. Who makes a quality leather belt sheath or pocket sheath with a clip (this would be really cool) that fits this knife? Everything I see says it fits Case XX this or Case XX that, and I'm new to slipjoints so don't have an idea what Case knives are the same size as this GEC 73, if any, and a knife of this quality deserves something that fits it right. Any help greatly appreciated guys, here's your chance to help out a slipjoint and GEC newbie :)

Marlin,
If you really like the knife that much,I would not mess around,I'd send it to Gary Graley,or Paul Long,or,Larry Parsons & have a nice sheath made, just for the knife
IMO,worth the extra $$ ,for the custom fit.You may order & not be satisfied with more than one production sheath & in the end,a better deal
-Vince

PS,Edited in,all 3 guys I mentioned, are very reasonable, great guys to deal with & have relatively quick turnaround times

The Liner Lock 73 is a very fine knife, but it feels heavy enough to sit in the pocket, I don't think you could lose one that easily.

sheaths from knives shipped free are of amazing quality.
if your shirt is tucked in would look like sunglasses
on the ranch we spend lots of time getting in & out of trucks & jeeps
i opted for one of the light weight nylon horizontal carry system carries for my g.e.c. mdl. # 23
as an older guy everything is about weight
when i was younger the k.s. f. leather case would have been my choice
their product looks like it came from a fine saddle shop, not only handsome but will last a lifetime .being an older kat appearance is'nt important & ragged nylon is o. k . all my smaller busses, spyderco mules & larger folders are carried in horo.nylon or kydex sheaths. but i ca'nt deny tanned leather is really handsome.

I second G2 (Gary Graley) He made a sweet sheath for my S&M Mountain man Trapper, which is an oversized slippie. He crafts sheaths so they fit like the proverbial glove. Plus he's a really nice guy:D

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it. I am sure one of the guys mentioned can help me. You guys are the greatest!
