Im looking for a slim knife with a flipper with a left hand clip option. Something slim like the Benchmade 940/943 would be ideal, but with the addition of a flipper. I would prefer something other than a liner lock and something that carries fairly deep in the pocket, but those aren't deal breakers. Assisted opening would be OK but not necessary, and I would prefer a quality brand like Benchmade, Kershaw, Buck, etc.

Any suggestions?

Would you be comfortable drilling and tapping holes for the pocket clip? There are a ton of great flippers that discriminate against lefties, but making them lefty friendly wouldn't be the toughest thing in the world. I would suggest the 300SN, but its about as far from slim as you can get

There is the new BM300SN. I don't have one so I can't really say much about it. A cheaper but still very good option is the Buck vantage pro. I have one and it is a surprisingly good knife for the money. It is a liner lock, But it has a VERY deep carry reversible pocket clip. Flips well, S30V and American made.

Ummm... have to say ZT 0560/1. Great blade, I have used it for a week's worth of cutting cardboard at work, the ELMAX is still paper slicing sharp and shaves arm hair!!!!

though its a liner lock, I have a CRKT Carson Design M21-02Gl SouthPaw Model, it is a strictly lefty tip up or down carry.

smooth opening quick deployment and very nice pocket carry, will post a few pics in a sec

sorry for the low qual. poor lighting and shaky hands
the blade originally had a gunmetal grey coating but it eventually started to wear off from use and abuse so i stripped it and polished it up

Ontario rat 1 and Spyderco Manix 2, also very favorably

I don't think I would call the Manix slim, at least when compared to the 943. Most Spyderco designs aren't very slim because they have to make room for the hole.

I wasn't aware the Rat 1 had a flipper.
