I am looking to replace my printer with an all in one system. Printer, scanner, fax, copier type of machine. My wife is going into the real estate business and I am in school so I think this would be a big help to the both of us. I don't know the first thing about them. I would like to stay in the $300-$400 range if possible.

Go with HP if you require A+ customer service.

However i don't think there'll be much difference with most of the major brands.

Stick with Canon, Epson or HP and you'll be fine.

HP all the way!

Can't beat them on quality and customer service, drivers etc.

They are always first with new technology and their print quality is always better than the competition.

Another nod for the HP 6110, I have used it extensively in my home office.
My sister, deep into real estate oddly enough, has the same model and really puts it through its paces and has no complaints. Although she does have another dedicated B&W printer for cheaper high volume stuff.

Another vote for HP - I have a 3100 that is around 6 years old, and have been using it extensively for the last 3 due to telecommuting. No problems whatsoever.

hp, the 6110 seems real nice but they just came out with the 6210, which is smaller and is pretty sweet. i work at best buy and the 6110 is being discontinued. you may have a little trouble finding the 6210 but i would take a look for it. they didn't have it on display yet at my best buy. i would definitely see about getting the new one.
