Recommend cord wrapped tanto PLEASE

I almost bought a Columbia River First Strike on ebay (the black blade with od green cord). Then I decided to search around and see what others have experienced. Apparently these cannot and will not hold an edge. I love how they look and feel, but don't want a useless knife. What tanto-bladed, cord-wrapped knives have you had good experiences with?

The Spyderco Kumo is a good knife with a cord handle warp, but doesn't have a tanto blade.

I don't know of any other candidates, but I also prefer that style of knife as well.

Contact Ivan Campos, a Brazilian cutliero (knifemaker). I have his American Standard Tanto in D-3 steel with cord-wrapped grip, including rayskin... awesome. He calls them pocket swords, with good reason.
