I'm going to usey 25% off coupon buck gave me. What should i get i want a pocket knife and prefer s30v steel recommend me what you would get. Thanks all.

I'm not sure if a coupon can be used on a custom shops design. I remember reading somewhere it can't but I could be wrong. That would be my recommendation though, make yourself a custom Buck 110 with S30V steel. If not, my second recommendation would be a Buck Vantage in S30V

Get a Marksman! Awesome knife with good steel (Bos treated 154CM), ergos and flips like a rocket

The open season folding skinner is a lot of beautiful wood handled, bos ht'd s30v, knife for the price. I love mine.
I bought 2, originally one for a gift, and then I had to have one for myself... Comes with a deep carry pocket clip + a nice sturdy leather case.

I have to agree with my boy Grownstar and noswod0208. The Marksman is a great knife. You just have to get used to the strap lock. Don't give up on it right away because it's different.

You did not say what kind of pocket knife you wanted. Most have recommended big knives. A Vantage force 847 is nice in S30V. You can get a sweet actual pocket knife called the Lux Pro in S30V.

Yup, get the Marksman! (or get 2!)

Vantage Pro or Vantage Force Pro for S30v. As others have posted if you would consider 154CM then the 830 Marksman of the CSAR-T would be good choices. If it's over $50 you get free shipping.

I would recommend a Vantage Force Pro:

Did someone say "S30V with a Paul Bos heat-treat"? Sweet!

My vote... Marksman.

It's such a departure from what I'm used to in a folder I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. I can't remember the last time I packed a 110 or 560 or even my CSAR-T. The Marksman is my "go-to", every day, every occasion knife.

Does anyone know quick the website gets back in stock..seems like every knife ive been interested in is on back order.

FYI - Don't feel too bad about buying your Buck from an online or brick-and-mortar retailer, you're not going to hurt their feelings.

Why?
Simply put, these retailers are Buck's biggest customers. As a result; Buck is going to fill their stocking orders first. These retailers could buy hundreds or thousands of knives from Buck in a single order. Especially true for "new" models; it could be quite a while before there is enough surplus inventory after these wholesale distributor orders that they will show up as available on Buck's site.

Additionally, unless your a BCCI member, first responder or military; you're going to spend more on a knife directly from Buck than you would a retailer.
Why?
Simple; Buck as the manufacturer does not want to compete with her retailers and jeopardize their bulk stocking orders.

So... it's actually better for you to purchase your Buck knives from other retailers. That will help keep interest high and those retailers buying more Buck inventory which keeps the wheels turning at Buck and keeps them coming up with new products to keep the demand high.

Of course; all of this is my personal hypothesis having experience in manufacturing and wholesale distribution.
