So! it turns out that we can carry friction folders here in denmark,
as long as the blade isn't longer than 2 3/4 inches!
so recommend me a good (high value too if posible) edc friction folder
im pretty open when it comes to style of knife, i just don't like the
looks of the japanese? Higonokami knives...
thanks and merry xmas to everybody!

maybe a deviant arts? i think that is the guy. he makes customs. and they are among the best. so i have heard that is

Svord Peasant.

Great knife....excellent steel for the price. Butt ugly, but cuts things.

A shorter blade is but a few minutes away with some coarse sandpaper or stones.

How about a higonokami knife from Japan. They can be had for $25 or so. I've had better luck with the SK steel versions, but a well heat treated blue steel is supposed to be superior.

I recommend saving up $140 for one of Hiroaki Ohta's handmade ATS-34 and desert ironwood small friction folders. The blade length is 2-1/4", it's easily opened and closed one-handed, and it's ultra-light at 0.9 ounces. The hollow ground modified Wharncliffe blade profile is a great all-around user.

If you make the Svod into a spear point or a wharncliffe it should be in the specs.

Just be careful when grinding not to overheat the blade.
