I've been looking at sheaths for a RMD and know that kydex and leather are available. Most of what I have seen is the kydex models, do they generally come with the teklok (spelling?) or do you have to order one extra? I'm guessing that kydex is probably a better choice in service life and durability than any leather sheaths can offer. Does anyone make a good sheath that can be carried on a belt comfortably or could be easily put on a backpack for short overnight camping? Thanks for any input and suggestions.

Oh yeah got my first RMD tanker gray and tan handle's (I'm colorblind so they look tan to me). Damn that thing is a beast and I'm probably going to order another one in the future. As soon as I can figure out how to put a picture up on here I will.

Some of the kydex makers include a teklok..some don't. Be sure to find out. I have leather from two makers on here, Chuddybear and armoralleather. Both leather sheaths are nearly bullet proof and wonderful sheaths. In my eyes (opinion), some knives beg for leather, while some seem to favor kydex. I don't see myself wearing out any of the sheaths that I have. Enjoy your choice.

The RMD kydex sheaths at the Company store made by me always include a tec-loc as do any of the kydex sheaths I make, unless you do not want one :)
