Hello new here, hope this isn't in the wrong section.

I've had ;

KA-BAR Next Generation
KA-BAR Full-Size Tanto
KA-BAR D2 Extreme

I'm looking for a hacker, such as a Kukri / Khukri, nothing tanto-like. Clip edges work.

Something 6 through 9.5 inches in length. Nothing sword-like.

Preferably from a reputable manufacturer, and something high quality.

I have deep pockets if something catches my eye.

moved to appropriate forum...

Sticking with the Ka-Bar theme - the Ka-Bar Kukri Machete is a great hacker for not too much cash. For about the same money though you could get the Ka-Bar Becker BK-9 and have a great straight chopper with better quality steel and so forth.

esee junglas! it's a great chopper, with a great kydex sheath and the best warranty out there. 22 ounces or so, 10ish inch blade, and nice micarta handle.

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth.
I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.
Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

+1 on the Fallknivens. I have an A1, but the A2 seems like it's right up your alley. The KaBar Heavy Bowie is another winner. Two of my favorite knives.

First of all, welcome to bladeforums.

Second of all, get an ESEE Junglas and you won't be disappointed. In case you aren't familiar, it's the big one in this pic...

Lots of good knives, especially the Fallknivens and Junglas (IMO). Just want to add the Crowell/Barker "Competition Knife".

It's a hair over your length spec, but the 10 inch Kershaw Outcast is a first rate big hacker. Weight forward like a khukri for good chopping power, D2 steel and a good reputation as a tough workhorse. Reasonably priced and can be found for significantly less than $100 with a bit of shopping.

If you are willing to spend quite a bit more, there is the Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri in either cabon steel ($200+) or San Mai III® laminated steel ($300+).

can anyone recommend me a tanto style edc/tactical fixed blade, with a simplistic design?
