I like smaller folders and am looking to see what else is out there. I like the Dragonfly, Mini Grips, Small Sebenza, Blade Tech Ratel and am looking for other small folders to check out with sub 3" blades.

Small Seb is around the size knife I prefer (2-3oz with 2.5-3" blade), and the Benchmade/HK 15210 and Kershaw Leek are nice ones around that size. I don't have the Leek handy, but here's a couple pics of the 15210 next to a small Sebenza to show how close they are in size (they're just about the same weight also):

Spyderco Cricket is my all time fav:)

Spyderco Sage
CRKT Drifter
Kershaw JunkYard Dog
Kershaw Skyline
Emerson Mini A100
Emerson Mini CQC7

How small is too small? The Spyderco dragonfly and Meerkat are both nice. One is very thin, the other thick to fill your hand. The Sage is right at 3" and carries very well. The Caly3 even better.

The Caly 3 was too long IMO.

Spyderco Miliitary, no really it gets smaller in your pocket ;)

Have you looked in the custom FS section? new maker with some sweet blades. What about custom FB's?

Hi jazzandmetal -

One to think about is a Kershaw Centofante -

It is a little smaller than a Leek, and it has the assisted open feature.

My example has tungsten handles that give it a heavier, more quality feel.

The blade is a modernized wharncliffe design, and it just works nice for opening packages and cutting tape, cord etc.

It is a very nice, small pocket knife that has great cutting abilities and will be one of your favorites.

It is of the usual high quality of Kershaw knives.

Here are some pictures of my example -

Mcusta Bambo - Cocobolo, Damascus bolsters. Includes pouch and belt clip. Lovely little knife. Exceptional f&f.

CRKT Eros - Very light. Very well made. Something a bit different.

Kershow OSO Sweet - If you're looking for inexpensive. Good feel, nice action, and just a tad over $20 (3" blade though).

Why don't you look at the Benchmade Aphid, Kershaw OverDrive (1 and 2) or SOG Flash I? In my opinion they are all great little edc knives. :)

Try the Volcan Coronado. It's really a nice small little bugger. I have been carrying mine for a month now and I'm really delighted by it. It's still a 3" blade, but the handle to blade ratio is 1/1, so it really is a small folder. It is dwarfed by mu Spyderco P'kal which also sports a 3-inch blade. And although it's assisted it only costs about 25$ or something.

Fällkniven also has some small folders. Below my Fällkniven TK4. A bit small smaller would be the U2.
