Recommend someone to re-cover my knife

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a GEC 15 boys' knife re-covered. Are there any craftsmen here on the forum or elsewhere that you'd recommend?

Glennbad is who I'd send it to. From what I've read and seen, his work is topnotch.

Only seen Glenn's work, as far as I know. I would have to suggest him.
You can also look in the maker's and modifier's forums. I know there are others besides Glenn here, but I do not know anything about them.

Glenn does great work! If you are handy, you could also try doing it yourself It seems a little daunting at first but really isn't too difficult.

Is it bad form to ask what a typical re cover costs in general terms? Ballpark? I've thought about it but always figured it would be crazy expensive

Ok. I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to negotiate a price. I didn't want to ask someone directly because I assumed it was probably more than I was prepared to spend and I wanted to avoid the unpleasantness of asking and then not following through. But I thought this might be crossing the line so I certainly won't do it again. Again, I am sorry.

It used to be that only those with Knifemaker/Craftsman memberships (and the OP of course) could see posts there, but I guess that's different (or not yet fixed) with the new forum software. That's where you want to ask though.

I reached out to Glenn and it looks like I will be having my huckleberry boys' knife recovered in a beautiful dyed maple burl I have picked out. He asked me to find what I wanted and send it to him, and I like that because I can get exactly what I want. I'm also having a beautiful sword shield added.

Thank you all very much for the recommendations. Obviously I won't discuss prices etc but let me just say that the work I want done is going to cost less than half what I thought it would. His prices are VERY reasonable and after reviewing the work in the thread posted earlier, I couldn't be more excited!

I agree with what people say about Glenn- He is awesome...
BUT.....
lets be fair on the others here too, Evan's work is incredible as well, and there is another chap who is rising extremely quickly and a very talented individual and extremely fair with prices- as Evan and Glenn...and this person is Mark, so I wil list the names below- do yourself a favour and talk to the three- as far as I know the three get along all very well too... these three deserve attention and recognition....
