Title says it all. I only have enough money for one and I can't decide. Any help or advice? I love the size of the 0452 but the steel on the 0562.....

0562cf, but I'm biased. M390 is a better steal than S35v.

It depends on what you're looking for. They are two very different knives.

If you don't do any regular maintenance on your knives and just keep using them until they are very dull, the improved wear resistance of M390 may suit you better. If you like long, slender knives that carry more comfortably in pocket, the 0452CF may be a better fit. If you are expect to be doing a lot of heavier cutting, the wider and thicker handles on the 0562 are going to be more comfortable in extended use. If you want a longer blade, the 0452CF has a bit over half an inch more blade.

Having owned both, and owning big hands, I prefer the 0452.
The flipping action and the steel are better on the 0562, but every time I flipped it, I felt like I was tweaking / leveraging the pocket clip waaaay too much. It was going to get loose eventually. And the M390 satin grind *seemed* to me like it picked up tiny scratches a little easier.

Only complaint on the 0452 is that the slim handle profile makes it pretty tough to grip n flip it in such a way that doesn't put pressure on the lockbar.

But overall, I say go with the 0452 while you can still find them right now. It's already a huge hit and is gonna be one of the most sought-after (production) ZTs in the future.
