recommendation: 52100 military or kw green g10 204p?

Both look great but if I can only have one, which would you recommend?

one stainless, the other not....perhaps that's a big decision factor? I'd really like the get hands on the 204p one myself to be honest.

They are polar opposites. One is a basic carbon steel and one is a complex stainless steel. I have found CTS204P to be very, very stainless and 52100 is not stainless at all. CTS204P will hold an edge much, much longer but 52100 will be much easier to sharpen. While I have not damaged either one, on paper the 52100 should be a more durable steel and 52100 should be able to handle being run at much lower angles. I have the CTS204P Para2 and the Southard in CTS204P plus I have the MT01 in 52100. They are both terrific blades and I want both but have to pass at this time.

Both are interesting. I think I would slightly go with 204P because it is stainless and has other good properties. If I were going to beat the knife to death I would probably go with 52100, but since no one does this (unless they have more money than brains, or they are trying to test designs), the 204P gets my vote.
Also, I like that green

Biggest decision is stainless vs. non-stainless. Next factor is availability. You can go online and buy the green but you might have to search and rely on your lucky rabbits foot to find the 52100.

Strange: the recent poll showed that the 204P was favored but it is the 52100 that is hard to come by....

I went with the 52100 only because I already own the 204P PM2 and wanted something different.

Most of my Spydercos are in complex high wear resistance stainless steels. This time round I want something on the other side of the spectrum that can support a thin edge, so 52100 it is.

If history is anything to go by, this same debate happened with the Caly Superblue sprints years ago. Just look at how expensive and sought-after the have become...
