Recommendation? Basement Dehumdifier

I would like some assistance with a replacement dehumidifier. The basement gets very humid, and will need a reliable unit. I was looking at a 30 pint model, but there are no drains in the basement, so everything will need to be carried or pumped out. The home improvement stores have model with unknown names. Can anyone here recommend one they have been using?

Thank you, everyone.

I called my brother in law because he is in a similar situation.

He uses this one he says: http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-30-Pint-Dehumidifier-ADEL30LR/203661853

...and like you, he has no basement drains. He did tell me that he has the unit up on an old end table and uses the drain hose to empty it into a small kid's pool [nephew's]. From there he uses a pump to send it out the coal window [via tubing] to his yard out back. He didn't tell me a model of pump [he was getting ready for work] but here's the pump page for Home Depot:

but if I had to hazard a guess, he uses something like this:

...nor did he offer how he rigged the pump to empty the pool. I'll try to get a better description but he's kind of a jerk in that he's the "I can't be bothered with this" kind of mentality....

I am a IICRC water damage restoration tech, a big part of my training was on dehu's and their proper usage.

The first step in selecting a dehu is knowing the atmospheric conditions of your basement. Temperature and humidity need to be know to calculate how much water is in the air and to also calculate how much water can be removed by the dehumidifier.

Air temperature is important too because hot air holds more moisture which will allow the dehu to work more efficiently. If your basement is mid 60s or less the air is not holding very much water and the efficiency of your Dehu drops way off the charts. And these are the conditions I deal with when I'm using dehumidifiers that will take out 120 to 300 pints of water per day.

There should be an AHAM rating to every dehu, I would recommend familiarizing yourself with these numbers.
