Recommendation for a carbon steel Leuku blade blank ?

Hello all , long shot but has anyone on the forum made their own Leuku knife and scabbard / sheath using a production made blade ? I am looking for recommendations for a blade preferably with at least a 4mm thickness stock blade made from carbon steel with a simple scandi grind . Thinking of making one using leather and brass washers . ?........Thanks

Look up Laurin Metalli. Excellent 80CrV2 blades.

Hello All , Ive noticed many of these Leuku blades are only 3mm in thickness , would this be adequate for some light to medium bushcrating chores , including battoning ?

Lauri-Leuku-240-HEAVY is 4.2mm thick. At Ragweed Forge. On shorter blades 3.2mm is probably fine; that's what my Morakniv Robust is.
