recommendation for a folder?

Hey guys,

What would you recommend as a folding knife from around $50-$70? I don't know how but the tip of my trusty Spyderco Delica broke off...I'm looking for a half-serrated blade and reasonably large, like 3.5" or 4", with steel liners and a sheath. I've taken a look at the Ka-Bar Mule. Is this a good knife?

By the way, is the DMT Mini-sharp a good pocket sharpener?

This forum deals with traditional folders, most of them slipjoints, rarely with serrated blades.

The Ka-Bar Mule is a monster of a knife. Great for heavy duty work, but really large, and with one of the sturdiest belt sheaths I've ever seen. Early versions needed the sheath but mine has an excellent deep carry pocket clip.

DMT sharpeners are good Best to go to the Maintenance forum later at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/794-Maintenance-Tinkering-amp-Embellishment to talk about sharpening -- it can get almost theological in its niceties.
